Good times under the Tuscan Sun. Florence must have been reading this blog and felt that it needed to redeem Italy after our Venice entry. The place treated us to delicious pasta, great traditional Italian market shopping, a really nice hostel with lots of interesting people to meet, David, and of course the worlds best gelato, literally (we'll explain our logic later). Our time here happened in a whirlwind fashion. The nighttrain dropped us off at 6am and from there we only had that day and the next to see the city before we shipped off to Rome. As such, plus the internet cafe we are in just told us that they close in ten minutes, we are going to make this post short and sweet, kinda like the gelato we ate. Enjoy our pics.

| The river running through Florence, anyone know the name? |
| All the Italian goodies we scored at the Mercato Centrale |
| Shopping for perfume from a place that has been in business for over four centuries, too bad 100 grams of their perfume would have cost us 80 euros!! We didn't buy any |
| We were very tired after our nighttrain (those things are not worth your money) and not even the epic Ponte Vecchio Bridge could wake Nathan up |

| How's the pose? |
| One of us likes their pasta a lot more than the other, who might that be? |

| New found friend |

| Waiting in line for the worlds best gelato. Here is our logic why it's the best, Italy has the best gelato in the world, and Florence has the best gelato in Italy, and this place we went to, Grom, is the best gelato in Florence, therefore... |
| This is us sampling the best gelato in the world!! |
| And yes was it ever the best gelato in the world |

Happy trails. The internet guy really wants us off now. Next time we post, it will be from Chania, Greece, on the sunny warm island of Crete.
